Working at 211 LA County

When people in LA County need help in their lives - from securing food and shelter, to escaping abuse, to finding affordable child care - they can call 2-1-1 for immediate, 24 hour professional assistance. That’s what we do at 2-1-1 LA County: give people the access to services, community connections, and support they need to survive and thrive.

2-1-1 LA County is not just a call center. Our Community Resource Advisors (CRAs) assess callers’ stated and unstated needs for any situation, then locate the best services for them in our database of 50,000 resources, then help them navigate the service system, providing support, guidance, and compassion. CRAs are supported by teams of Quality Assurance Specialists, Resource Specialists, Team Coaches, and our in-house IT and Development team that develops custom software solutions for Information and Referrals and multi-agency Care Coordination.
